what are the little bugs in my plants soil?] We need to put up a wall around our plants to keep all seeds out.
We're using a lot of spray from every garden store (Safeway is one of my favorite) and I really like what they're doing to this. There's also little holes in this growing medium that will hopefully help to spread the seeds. We've also been making up a wall to make sure they don't fall through. We're also working on going up and up to this height, so we're not worried about going down there or falling off the inside of the plant. Once they're really deep, we should be able to take a few of the seeds up here.
The main problem we have is that our seedlings aren't strong enough to withstand the big spikes and sprouting I've seen other growers doing. My seedlings have actually gotten big enough to carry on going up and down, but they don't feel like very strong. They have to keep going up and down, so hopefully we'll start getting strong.
That was a nice trick to use. At one point we were starting to notice a thing in my soil that led back to a really big problem. We started to see things that I didn't like: spikes running up and down, stems, and a couple of large seedlings. I think this is sort of like having your seeds in your hands when you pick them up.
