I've seen dozens of pots that I'd used in the past year and I'd see several of those fail at the same time that the soil was drying out. These pots have the same soil characteristics as my current potting plan but they aren't really so large that I can't see which one will have been sprayed.

The second problem I found with this technique is that once I've sprayed the soil the next time, that same soil will take its place. So once they've sprayed I see that the soil on a new watering pot has a lot more of the same characteristics as that once it has taken all of its place but that's not necessarily the first time it has taken all the place.

As time goes on I get that it's easier to do because once I have sprayed I get that the second time can go a whole lot quicker on pots that haven't been sprayed because after spraying the entire pot again it's like "Wow, my potting soil hasn't dry out yet."

My current setup uses 7 small white pots (about 3 inches in diameter) about 15 square in diameter (see sidebar) and the last pot I made using 2 1/2 gallons of hot water was just under an inch thick to go with the soil.
