We suggest that we use insecticides and fungicides to stop white-backed bugs and reduce their numbers in the future. We're looking at the insects that may use these fungicides, and we're trying to find ways to decrease black flies. We don't want to just eradicate some insects. We want to eliminate some other species, too. So we're really looking at these insects that are so common in the soil, and we're hoping that we can find other places where they can live, such as in the past, so that they don't spread such a strong disease to people," explains Dr. N.B.E.T.
